Kids in middle school have transportation on the brain, at least according to my daughter’s principal. The school held a “Welcome Back” open house for parents this week and the principal, in his opening remarks, said he was surprised by the number of inventions proposed by students that were transportation-related: flying carpets, flying shoes, flying cars, and my personal favorite, teleportation.
